Hi ! I tried to ask the question on the Googl;e Analytics subreddit but it got removed for some reason...
We have a documentation site which offers docs for many products on a subdomain. Basically we have :
docs.myproduct.com/product-1
docs.myproduct.com/product-2
docs.myproduct.com/product-3
etc.
When creating a GA4 install to track traffic to the different products, is it better to :
- Create one data stream for docs.myproduct.com and segment lateron in reports ; or
- Create one stream for /product-1, one for /product-2 etc. ?
Or maybe they're "equal", with both some advantages and disadvantages ?
Thank you for your input ! I want to do things right at the outset.
