The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features a lot of different items that can be fused together with your weapons and shields to grant them unique properties and increase their durability.

Among the best materials you can fuse to weapons in the game are diamonds. They are fairly uncommon, though, so knowing where to look for them can help you quite a bit in all stages of the game. No matter who you are fighting, extra durability and damage power are always quite welcome.

Where to Find Diamonds in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Diamonds are among the best materials for weapon fusions in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and, unsurprisingly, they are pretty rare to find. Some of them can be found inside treasure chests or can be obtained as Shrine rewards, and there is no way to farm them at the time. One of the diamonds in the game, however, can be obtained fairly easily, and if you have reached a certain location in the game, you can keep reusing this diamond for your weapon fusions until you find more of them.

The easiest diamond to find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found inside the Royal Hidden Passage cave under Hyrule Castle. To reach it, you will need to get to the Observation Room from the First Gatehouse. Head past the Gatehouse and then climb on the rock wall to your right, then up the walls until you reach the balcony and enter the room depicted in the screenshot below.

You will know you are in the right place if you find a guard called Nobiro in the room. Here, use Ultrahand to remove the floor gate. Enter the passage to find a treasure chest with a diamond inside. Fuse it with any of your weapons to grant it increased durability as well as a +25 damage bonus.

As you already know, fused materials in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom get destroyed alongside the weapons they have been fused to, but if you hold the damaged weapon and bring it to Pelison in Tarrey Town in the Akkala Highlands, you can salvage the diamond, and fuse it to another weapon to continue to enjoy the damage power and benefits it grants.
